LIBRARY EVENTS
Reading Week 2017 was a great success! The theme for this year was "Recipes for Reading". We had authors Shana Corey and Heather Forest come. They talked about writing, reading, and the research that goes into writing books. Mystery chef readers came from far and wide to surprise our students on Monday. On Tuesday and Wednesday, classes participated in a "recipe swap", sharing their favorite books with another class. Aprons that were made in the library and the art studio were worn by all students and staff at JFK. The grand finale, as always, was "Cuddle up with a good book day", also known as pajama day. Thanks to all who helped made Reading Week so much fun!!
